Didier Fournet lives and works between Guéthary, a renowned Basque village, and Porto, a young, attractive, and sparkling Portuguese city, both cradled by the waves of the Atlantic. For him, there is no contradiction between the charm of Guéthary and the urban life of Porto: they share the same lifestyle and creativity. It is here, on his return from his travels, that Didier Fournet finds the refuge and concentration he needs to create his pictorial works of "pixel time" and "abstract vibrations". As an outdoor photographer and digital painter working at his computer, he enjoys transforming reality and making it vibrate to the point of abstraction, creating a new photographic field whose texture becomes graphic, playing with time to the point of a certain sense of ubiquity.
