The first of the nine major arts is architecture. The seven wonders of the ancient world were man-made buildings, feats of engineering and aesthetics. From mythical places of worship such as the Pyramid of Kheops, the Pantheon in Athens, or Notre Dame in Paris to the most iconic buildings of the 20th century such as the skyscrapers of the 1930s in New York or Frank Lloyd Wright's Waterfall House - architecture is the most spectacular mark of humanity through time.
