Mood of the week: Iconic

Exhibition from 18 September to 24 September 2023

The symmetrical, vertical alignment of the columns in greek temples is proof enough: since ancient times and the beginnings of modern architecture, vertical lines have been an essential part of our relationship with the world, a link between heaven and earth, a desire to connect the divine with humanity. We can only marvel at cities like New York or Hong Kong that stand upright, the bodies of dancers that stand up straight or soar through the air, mountains that have been striving for millions of years to graze the clouds. So this week, we've brought together the works of our artists who are aiming high. Sky is the limit!
