about the exhibition :
Mood of the week: Black & White
Exhibition from 17 April to 23 April 2023
Black and white are the extremes of the light spectrum and therefore embody all that is opposed, all that is in complete contrast. A certain harmony emerges from this opposition between yin and yang, which highlights darkness and light and works very well in art: from Soulages to Serra via Malevitch, from Helmut Newton to Ansel Adams, whatever the medium, the greatest artists have explored the absence of colour. Discover our selection of the week which concentrates on the best of our artists' monochrome works; cause it don't matter if you're black or white.
