A wood fire crackling in the fireplace after a long walk in a frost-covered forest. The crystalline air of the countryside, the rustle of the forest edge, the low but embracing sky, the smell of dinner slowly being prepared. All our senses are in turmoil during this period that marks the end of autumn and the beginning of winter, with the festive season approaching and the constant oscillation between fleecy interiors and bitterly cold exteriors.
